Markings: The barrel is marked, “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 HBAR”. The right side of the gas block is marked, “M R1 3”. The front sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow above it. The rear sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow and “DN” with a right-pointing arrow. The left side of the lower is marked with the Colt horse and logo, “SPORTER MATCH HBAR CAL .223 SER. MH045602” and also “COLT’S MFG. CO. INC. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A.” “SAFE” and “FIRE”. The auto sear is marked “COLT”.

Sights / Optics: Front A2 post sight with elevation adjustment, L-type flip aperture in the rear.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is an A2 fixed polymer stock with trap door for storage compartment in the checkered buttplate. The pistol grip is a polymer ergonomic grip with thumb rest. The handguard is a round checkered aluminum full length handguard. The Bolt has a “C” stamp on the side and its MP mark on the bolt head. The LOP measures 13.6” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. The hammer has been upgraded to a lightweight skeleton hammer and the trigger has had some adjustment. It’s extremely smooth and crisp.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows loose storage marks and some light handling wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
