Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked, “JRA0303 GALLANT CAL 5.56” with Hebrew Script near the selector switch. The right side of the receiver is marked with Hebrew script by the safety lever. The bottom of the receiver is marked, “JAMES RIVER ARMORY BURGAW, NC”. The left side of the pistol grip is marked, “PHOENIX TECHNOLOGY MADE IN USA”. The right side of the grip has a Phoenix logo. The left side of the rear sight is marked, “8577”. The dust cover release button is marked, “B” on the left side. The bolt carrier is marked, “63”.
Barrel Length: 18”. 19.25” with flash hider.
Sights / Optics: Hooded adjustable post front sight with rear L-Type Aperture sight. The front sight has a provision for its missing Tritium flip up night sight. The rear sight has a flip up tritium night sight. The tritium is depleted.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is an aluminum tubular skeleton side folding stock with integrated buttplate. The handguard is wood with appropriate finger grooves and Bipod cutout. The bottom of the gas block has its original folding Bipod attached. The charging handle has its appropriate upswept configuration. The stock rates in Fine Condition. The Gallant is built using an American made receiver and barrel with original Israeli part sets.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows very little wear. The markings are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about a Excellent condition. The Israeli folding stock has some finish loss but that is to be expected with Israeli IDF parts kits.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
