Markings: The barrel is marked “5.56”. The front sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow above it. The rear sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow and “DN” with a right-pointing arrow. The left side of the lower is marked with the Colt horse and logo, “AR-15 A2 HBAR SPORTER CAL. 223 SER. SP 214833” also “COLT’S FIREARMS DIVISION COLT INDUSTRIES HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” “SAFE/FIRE”. Bolt is marked “C” on the left side and there are assist grooves on the right side of the bolt. Neck of the Bolt head is marked “MPC”. The left side of the pistol grip is marked, “LONE STAR ORDNANCE SAN ANTONIO, TX.”.
Barrel Length: 16”. 17.25” with A2 Flash Hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an A2 front post with elevation adjustment and the rear sight is an L-type flip aperture integrated to the carry handle.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is an M4 style cast collapsible buttstock with two sling slots. The pistol grip is a Lone Star Ordnance checkered polymer pistol grip. The handguard is an A2 round ribbed polymer Carbine length handguard. There is heavy evidence of previous use and operation. The checking peaks have been slightly dulled.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One original Colt 20rd straight mag in Very Good condition.
Type of Finish: Parkerized and anodized finish.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. There is finish wear and loss on the receiver, particularly on the case deflector, ejection port, delta ring, and buffer tube. Overall this rifle rates in Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
