Markings:  The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER BLACKHAWK .44 MAGNUM CAL.” with the Ruger Logo. The right side of the frame under the cylinder is marked with the serial number “1565”.    The left side of the barrel is marked “STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”.

Barrel Length: 6.5″

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a raised serrated ramped blade, integral to a base fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a square-notch in a base pinned to a channel in the top strap and is adjustable for elevation and windage.

Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are fantastic tiger striped walnut two-piece wood grips with the silver Ruger phoenix logo on either side. There is no notable damage or wear. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the panels are in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10. Based off the cylinder and barrel this revolver appears to be unfired.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear besides some light oxidation on the sides of the hammer and some light hammer wear. The serrations on the hammer spur are sharp. Overall this pistol is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This pistol includes a ruger yellow cardboard box.
