Markings: This revolver has “.22LR” on the cylinder, “PAT.SEPT.19.1871 / JULY.2.72 / JAN.19.75.” with the colt horse is marked on the left side of the frame. The barrel is marked, “PEACEMAKER .22 / COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG.Co. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” there is engraving on the bottom of the grip frame. The serial is on the underside of the frame.

Barrel Length: 5.75″

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed square blade with a V-notch rear trench sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered black hard rubber panels with “COLT” in oval at their tops and the american eagle on the bottom. There is no notable damage. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Blued/Case Hardened.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates at a 9/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is minor wear from use. Overall, this revolver is in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a .22 Mag cylinder, paperwork, and the original cardboard box.
