Markings: This pistol has, “Made In W-Germany / HK Inc. / Sterling VA” on the right magwell, “41J” on the handguard, “0 / 1” on the selector on both sides, “1JA” on the receiver cap, “Cal 9mm x 19” on the left side of the magwell, “HK SP 89 / 21-18914 / KA” with proof marks on the top of the receiver.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post and the rear is a diopter rotating drum.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The pistol grip and handguard are synthetic. The smooth pistol grip is synthetic and so is the checkered charging handle. The handguard is smooth. The rear of the receiver has a sling swivel. The SP89 features an ambidextrous selector lever with pictographic symbols for “fire” and “safe.” The overall length is 14″. The pistol grip and forend rate at Like New overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes one 20rd 9mm HK magazines in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The pistol appears unfired outside of factory testing. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no wear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
