Markings: The Left side of the frame is marked “CALICO M-100 .22LR”. The left side of the rear sight reads “U.S. & FOREIGN PATENTS PEND.” Left side of the helical magazine is marked “CALICO M-100 .22LR” Next to the safety selector switch above the grip is marked with an “F” encapsulated by a red circle. The right side of the helical magazine reads “ U.S. & FOREIGN PATENTS PEND. MADE IN U.S.A. AMERICAN INDUSTRIES”. The right side of the frame is marked “AMERICAN INDUSTRIES 000849 BEFORE USING THIS FIREARM, READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS”. The right side of the rear sight is marked “MADE IN BAKERSFIELD. CA.. U.S.A”.
Barrel Length: 17 ¾ ” barrel with integrated muzzle device
Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a square notch adjustable iron sight not integrated into the magazine like the pistol Calicos. The front sight is an adjustable wing protected post front sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The pistol grip and forend grips are black polymer, show minimal signs of wear and are in Excellent Condition. The cast aluminum receiver with its stainless steel bolt and forend show wear from handling and use. This Calico rifle features an underfolding blued steel skeletonized buttstock. This buttstock has rust in the hinges and inside the skeletonized rail, the stock is in Good overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its original finish. The balance of the finish has signs of handling wear and use throughout the body of the rifle. The 12 o’clock position at the tip of the muzzle device has a ding that has removed the finish. The action spring is strong, the ejector is not chipped or bent, the bolt face is clean and the extractor spring is strong. Overall this rifle is in Good to Very Good Condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this Rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes one 100rd helical magazine. The magazine is in Very Good Overall Condition with only one small dent on the aluminum strip on the bottom of the magazine.
