Our Assessment:  The Barrett Fieldcraft is a highly capable and lightweight rifle designed for performance and versatility. With a carbon fiber stock, the rifle provides a light and rigid platform. The barrel and action are made from high-quality 416 stainless steel and held to tight tolerances for smooth and fluid operation. The button-rifled barrel is honed for precision and accuracy, and the bolt handle is attached to the bolt using a t-groove for a secure fit. The rifle’s adjustable Timney trigger, 4-round blind magazine, and two-position safety provide the user with the flexibility to tailor the rifle to their specific needs. The 5 screw holes in the top of the receiver allow the user to move the front mount forward, providing added versatility. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with an 18″ threaded barrel, the Barrett Fieldcraft is capable of Sub-MOA accuracy, making it an excellent choice for hunters and target shooters alike. Markings:  The left side of the receiver is marked, “FIELDCRAFT FC003015 BARRET MURFREESBORO, TN USA”.  The left side of the chamber is marked, “6.5 CREED 1-8”.  The buttpad is marked, “DECELERATOR”.  The tang is marked, “BFMI” and “S” and “F” for the safety.  The scope rings are marked, “TALLEY”.

Barrel Length: The barrel is threaded with a knurled thread protector and measures 18” from the end of the threaded portion to the locking logs of the bolt.

Barrel Material:  416 Stainless Steel, Button Rifled, 5/8×24 threads.

Receiver Material: Stainless Steel, 416 Stainless Action.

Sights / Optics: There are no sights installed, but is equipped with two scope rings mounted to the drilled and tapped receiver.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The stock is Carbon Fiber monte carlo style with sling studs, traditional smooth grip, and Decelerator buttpad.  The LOP measures 13.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad.  The stock rates in about “Excellent” overall condition.  There are no chips or cracks. There is no visible wear.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: Internal 4 round magazine.

Type of Finish:  Charcoal Gray.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal to no wear. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition. There are some loose storage marks on the barrel.

Mechanics: The safety, bolt action and magazine release functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. Thumb safety right of the bolt.
