Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “P. Beretta” in cursive, with a scrollwork engraving, a duck, and the Ducks Unlimited banner,, “Mod. A 303-20GA”, and “MADE IN ITALY”. The bottom of the receiver is marked with Italian proofs and a date code as well as the limited series number “87 DU 0330”. The left side of the receiver is marked “DUCKS UNLIMITED” with engraving. The left side of the barrel is marked “MAGNUM / P.BERETTA-MADE IN ITALY / 20GA. 3”-26”. The right side of the barrel is marked “BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK, MD.”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “L79040E”.
Barrel Length: 26” with vent-rib.
Choke: Adjustable, CYL-20
Sights / Optics: White plastic bead in a base at the muzzle and a smaller metal alignment bead. The rib is checkered and the receiver is serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered wood with a finger groove forend, sem i-pistol grip, straight comb, sling stud in the belly, sling stud on the mag tube cap, and solid rubber buttpad. There are some scratches and compression marks and some mild handling wear on the grip checkering. There are scuffs in the glossy finish but are mostly noticeable in the light’s reflection. The checkering is generally well defined. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad. The buttpad shows scattered minor rub wear. There are no chips or cracks. The stock set is in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in either. There are some minor scratches from being previously fired but they remain hard to detect. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The receiver has some scattered light handling marks on the trigger guard. There is faint operational wear. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition with exception to some light-mild handling wear on the stocks.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
