Our Assessment: Hey there, firearms enthusiasts! Today, we’re gonna take a look at a unique piece that’s sure to catch your eye. It’s the Taurus Circuit Judge, a firearm that blurs the lines between a shotgun and a revolver. Now, this is a rifle that’s got a lot of folks talking, so let’s dive right into it.

First off, the Circuit Judge is chambered in .45LC/.410GA, which makes it an interesting choice for a rifle. It’s got a five-shot cylinder that can handle either 2.5 or 3-inch shells, giving you some versatility in your ammo choices. Now, it’s important to note that the .410 bore is not the most powerful shotgun round out there, but it does have its uses, especially in close quarters or for pest control and when long range marksmanship is needed, the .45LC surely doesn’t disappoint.

One of the standout features of the Circuit Judge is its unique revolving cylinder design, which gives it that classic “wheelgun” look. The cylinder rotates counter-clockwise, which is a departure from the more common clockwise rotation of most revolvers. It’s smooth and easy to operate, with a crisp trigger pull that’s quite enjoyable.

The ergonomics of the Circuit Judge are also worth mentioning. It’s got a comfortable pistol grip stock that’s easy to shoulder and point naturally. In terms of sighting options, the Circuit Judge comes with a set of fiber optic sights that are easy to pick up in most lighting conditions. However, the top of the receiver is also drilled and tapped for a scope mount, so you can easily add optics if you prefer.  This Circuit Judge has a top tier Tritium See All Nite sight which is sure to spice up your marksmanship game.

So, what’s the verdict on the Taurus Circuit Judge? Well, it’s definitely a unique firearm that offers a blend of shotgun/rifle and revolver features. It’s not the most powerful shotgun out there, and the rifling on the barrel limits its long-range accuracy. But if you’re looking for a fun and versatile gun for close-quarters shooting or pest control, the Circuit Judge is a solid and unique option. Please see specs below and good luck!
