Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM-ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL” and “01094”. The right side of the barrel is marked “MOD A 500-12GA–2 ¾” AND 3” INVECTOR / PATENTS PENDING”. The left side of the receiver is marked “R / M.C”. Receiver has gold inlaid Pintail in cattails and DU banner on right. Three Mallards in cattails on left and signed by Michael Collins in gold.
Barrel Length: 28″, Full Length Vent-Rib
Choke: Adjustable for Browning Invector Choke system. Improved Modified installed.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a silver-colored bead at the front of the rib. The top of the rib and receiver have checkering and serrations for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a two-piece checkered High grade III-IV walnut PG stock with gloss finish with a round-bottom semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, black rubber vented Browning Automatic buttpad, and finger grooves running the length of the forend. There is a small gash in the checkering on the bottom left of the forend. Other than that the stocks are pristine. The checkering is well defined with sharp peaks. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14.25″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some rust spots on top of the receiver as well as on the vent rib. There are very minor signs of previous operation. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
