Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. The left of the monoblock is marked “17815”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked with several proofs. The left side of the barrel lug is marked “INVECTOR / PLUS” and “28”. The right of the top barrel is marked “INVECTOR-PLUS CITORI SPECIAL STEEL 12 GA-2 3/4” AND 3””. The inside of the forend iron is marked “17815” and the inside of the forend is stamped “17815”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked with the serial number. The sides of the receiver are marked with Grade 1 scroll engraving. The bottom of the receiver is marked “BROWNING / Citori”. The bottom of the trigger guard has a Buck Mark logo.

Barrel Length: 28” Vent-Rib

Choke: The barrels are threaded to accept different sized chokes. Currently installed are Cylinder over Cylinder. No additional chokes are included.

Sights / Optics: There is a silver bead at the front of the rib. The top of the rib is finely checkered and the top of the chamber is serrated, both for the purpose of reducing glare

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece checkered walnut with a round bottom semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and a brown Browning vented recoil buttpad. The wood shows some infrequently dispersed fine scratches and minor compressions. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The pad has some light edge wear. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with no erosion.

Overall Condition: This gun retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are just some infrequent faint marks throughout the metal and some finish loss where the front of the forend rubs under the barrel. The receiver has taken a slight plum hue. There is some oxidation on the receiver primarily underneath.  The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear and the pins are clean. Overall, this gun rates in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The shotgun features a single selective trigger and ejectors. The barrels lock up solidly. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened but does function properly when engaged manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
