Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “BD 47 0234 / Model SLR 107CR / Cal. 7.62×39 / Made in Bulgaria”, “arsenal LAS VEGAS. NEV. U.S.A.”. The left side of the dust cover is marked “0234”. The left side of the pistol grip is marked “CAGE CODE / 3E2Q7”. The left side of the handguard is marked “US”. The right side of the receiver is marked “S F”. The top of the handguard is marked “US”.
Barrel Length: About 16.25” Threaded with removable conical flash hider/barrel shroud.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear is an adjustable leaf tangent U-Notch sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The synthetic buttstock is a side folder with a steel buttplate and trap door for cleaning kit (included). The pistol grip is a Tapco black polymer serrated grip. The two piece handguard is ribbed synthetic with a sling ring in the nose cap. Overall the stock rates in Very Good condition. The LOP measures 12.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate.

Bore Condition: The Chrome bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light operation wear. The markings are very clear. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pinheads are unmarred. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good condition. There are some scuffs and scratches on the receiver and dust cover. The trunnion shows some light oxidation. There are some fire marks on the muzzle.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The SLR-107CR, for a while now, has been arguably the best factory AK any AK enthusiast can get their hands on. If you are looking for a high end AK-47 variant with classic features on par with the Type III Kalashnikov rifles, then look no further because this is as good as it gets. Bulgarian AK variants are among the most sought after variants in the AK community, and for good reason.
