Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “L227830 / CAL.223-5.56MM / MOD. XM15-E2S / B.F.I. WINDHAM, ME. / U.S.A.”, “FIRE SAFE”. The right side of the receiver is marked “FIRE SAFE”. The right side of the carry handle is marked with a Splintered A Forge Mark. The right side of the magwell is marked “RESTRICTED / LAW ENFORCEMENT / GOVERNMENT USE ONLY”. Both sides of the buttstock have a faint “350”.
Barrel Length: 16”. 17” with A2 Flash Hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an A2 style adjustable post. The rear sight is an A2 Style L-Type Flip Aperture sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a fixed A2 stock with sling ring and checkered buttplate with trap door for storage compartment. The pistol grip is a standard A2 style grip. The handguard is a rifle length A2 handguard. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Good overall condition. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering on the grip is slightly worn. The delta ring has some marring on the edges. There are some scratches and scuffs on the buttstock near the receiver on the right side.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The bore does need a light cleaning.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. There are scratches and scuffs on the receivers. There is thinning on the forward assist. The markings are very clear and the pinheads are unmarred. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable. Overall, this rifle rates in Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
