Markings: The side plates are marked “CAESAR / GUERINI”, amid stunning scroll and floral relief engraving, seen on the metal components of the receiver and forend bracket. The underside of the receiver is marked “Summit”. The right top side of the receiver on the lip is marked “176308”. The right side of the top barrel is marked “CAESAR GUERINI USA Columbia, MD”. The left side of the barrel is marked “CAESAR GUERINI / Made in Italy”. The bottom of the block is marked “A / 348”, “176308”, “IT23”, “CIP/S”.
Barrel Length: Both barrels are 32″ with a vent rib.
Choke: Both barrels are threaded for chokes. Installed are Modified over Light Modified. Also included are Cylinder, Skeet, and two Improved Cylinder chokes.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a white bead in a metal base, screwed into the ventilated rib near the muzzle with a second smaller mid-rib metal bead; the top of the rib is finely checkered for glare reduction with a smooth shallow center channel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a beautiful two-piece checkered Turkish walnut with a schnabel tip forend, semi-pistol grip with a right-hand palm swell, straight comb, and black rubber buttpad. The buttstock has some draglines and compressions. The most noticeable marks are on the comb. The checkering is sharp. The LOP is 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the pad. The Guerini pad has some scattered light wear from storage. Overall, the stocks rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are all mirror bright with no erosion and appear unfired. In this writer’s opinion the bores each rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no operation wear. There is still factory grease thickly applied to the components and action. This shotgun appears unfired outside of factory testing. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent-Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The shotgun has an upper tang mounted safety & barrel selector, it does not set automatically but functions correctly when manually set. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a red lined hard case, choke set as mentioned above, thread cleaner tool, takedown wrench, owner’s manual, handouts, barrel and receiver sleeves, and original purchase receipt.
