Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “L1A1 Sporter Cal. .308 / Receiver made by IMBEL – Brazil / Imported by CAI St. Alb VT” and “121954”. The right side of the lower is marked “ZA-0008”. The right side of the bold is marked “A114065”. The charging handle is marked “960-2302 B 61”. The left side of the lower is marked “A S R” for the selection options and “UB 60A105431”. The left side of the gas block is marked “960-2266 / B 59”. The gas adjustment knob is marked “1-7”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear is a peep sight that is adjustable.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The thumbhole stock and vented handguard are synthetic. There is visible wear on the bottom of the forestock cap, trigger guard, and carry handle. There are some compression marks and scuffs on the handguard. The LOP measures 14.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore however there are sports of scattered corrosion throughout the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some operation wear. The screw heads are sharp and pinheads unmarred. The markings are crisp. There is oxidation on the receivers and on the gas block. The barrel has a good amount off scuffs resulting in finish loss all over. The takedown lever’s finish is bubbling with loss around the edges. Overall, this rifle rates in about Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

The Century Arms L1A1 is a civilian version of the military rifle that has been imported into the United States from various countries.
