Markings: Right side of the receiver is marked “MDL:N-PAP M70 CAL. 7.62X39MM”, “FIRE”, “SAFE”, “Read Owner’s Manual Before Use C.A.I. GEORGIA VT”. The bolt is marked “N-PAP017095”. The left side of the receiver is marked “N-PAP017095 ZASTAVA,SERBIA”. Rear sight is marked “0-10”. The underside of the rear sight is marked, “11678” in electric pencil. The left side of the trigger is marked, “TAPCO USA G2”. The right side of the trunnion is marked with some proofs.
Barrel Length: 16”. 17” with fixed slant brake.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear sight is a “U” notched tangent marked from “0-10”.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This 3 piece furniture set consists of a fixed stock with rubber buttpad, Polymer pistol grip, and a polymer Yugo style handguard with 3 vent ports on each side. The left side of the receiver has an AK Scope mounting rail. There is minimal wear. The only noticeable imperfections are a couple small impression marks on the bottom of the lower handguard. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the stock. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. This rifle rates in about Excellent condition and has been stored responsibly in its original packaging. There are two small scratches on the left side of the receiver above the serial number.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: If any firearm is begging to be taken out and broken in, this is it. This Zastava NPAPM70 is solidly built like a tank and all of its equipment and parts are tight. Serbia is one of those names notorious in the AK world for making high quality and long lasting AKs. Its modern production does mean that if you just need a Kalashnikov type rifle to bang around, you won’t feel guilty about it and knowing it hasn’t been abused in the past makes all the more reason to grab this fresh rifle. This firearm packs a serious punch and brings a lot of potential for self-defense, target practice, hunting, or just general fun-having. If you want versatility and power, this is the gun for you!
