Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “CENTURY ARMS, INC. GEORGIA, VT / M70ABM / CAL: 7.62 X 39 MM / SER NO: WM02-00717”. The left side of the trigger is marked “TAPCO USA G2”. The bolt is marked “85176”. The left side of the Trunnion is marked “9T” with a proof.
Barrel Length: 16” threaded with birdcage flash hider. The flash hider is stuck, possibly fixed, we did not force it.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear sight is a “U” notched tangent marked from “0-10”. The front sight has a flip up tritium night sight (Depleted). When the rear sight is flipped forward there are 2 DOT tritium night sights also depleted/missing.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The handguard is a 2 part YUGO wooden upper and lower guard. The stock is an underfolding steel stock. There is some light handling wear. The pistol grip is serrated polymer. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the extended buttplate. There is a scuff underneath the right edge of the handguard as well as some light scratches and compression marks. Has its grenade launcher ladder sight.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 30rd polymer TAPCO U.S.A magazine in Very Good condition.
Type of Finish: Gray/ Black anodized

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is mostly sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows scratches on the receiver and barrel. The rear sight has wear from operation. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall this rifle rates in about Very Good condition. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Century M70ABM is a loving copy of the Zastava M70ABM, produced in Serbia during the time of the Yugoslavian state. The barrel is non-chrome lined, which increases accuracy downrange, and this rifle comes with a folding stock for added transportability. It also includes a bayonet lug for added close quarters defense options, as well as a Tapco trigger group. With its distinct night sights, grenade launcher sight, and underfolding stock – this is a fine remake of one of the better versions of the AK Pattern rifle with original military parts and would be an excellent addition to any AK collector’s safe or a starting point for any new AK collector.
