Markings: The sides of the slide at the rear are marked with Caspian logos and the left side of the slide is marked “Caspian”. The chamber is marked “HYBRID 38SUPER / DANGER / EXHAUST PORTS / READ MANUAL”. The bottom of the frame is marked “00460H”. The right side of the optic is marked “C-MORE SYSTEMS / pat.pend. / MC227C”.
Barrel Length: 5” 4 Ported Barrel. 6.5” with muzzle brake.
Sights / Optics: There are no front or rear sights on this pistol. The frame is mounted with a C-MORE SYSTEMS Early Serendipity red dot sight. The sight picture is clear with a bright red dot at max setting.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black checkered laminated wood with smooth centers that travel down the front to the bottom. The top and lower rear sections are checkered. The checkering is crips with sharp peaks. There is mild handling wear. The checkering is intact and attractive. There are no chips or cracks. The grip panels rate in about Very Good overall condition.
Type of Finish: Parkerized, Blued (Plum)
Finish Originality: The finish is original to this custom pistol.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is defined. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 90% of its metal finish. There is moderate operational wear on the slide and frame. There are some light scratches on top of the slide and dust cover. The flared magazine well has some insert wear all around that has resulted in a good amount of finish loss. The screw heads are tool marked but retain strong serviceable slots. Overall, this handgun rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is extremely crisp and light. The slide to frame fit is snug. The weight on the slide is We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
