Our Assessment: Now, this rifle is a true Frankenstein’s monster – it’s a mashup of the MAC-11 and the 1928 Thompson Machine Gun. It’s like if you took a MAC-11 and a Thompson Machine Gun, smashed them together, and gave them a bit of a facelift.
The Cobray TM-11/NINE is a compact, lightweight, and deadly firearm that was designed for close quarters to mid range combat. Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked, “COBRAY” with its Logo, “TM-11/NINEmm LEINAD DUCKTOWN, TN / SAFE FIRE / 94-0017819”. Both sides of the foregrip are marked, “COBRAY”. The top of the receiver is marked with a COBRAY logo. The left side of the receiver is marked, “SEMI”. The right side of the polymer magazines are marked with the COBRAY Logo.
Barrel Length: 17” finned barrel resemblant of the original 1928 Thompson Machine Gun.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade fixed to a barrel band at the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a fixed peep hole sight integrated with the rear of the receiver. The charging handle is grooved to allow target acquisition without obstruction of the sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a polymer skeleton stock with serrated rear integrated buttplate and is screwed to the bottom of the receiver. The Magazine well serves as a pistol grip with a polymer backstrap. The bottom of the backstrap locates the mag release lever. Top charging handle. The right side of the receiver has a finger safety switch. The finned barrel has a finned polymer barrel shroud that has an integrated 1928 style thompson angled foregrip. The LOP measures 16” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fixed buttstock. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There are no chips or cracks. The trigger has a rubber cap for a more comfortable trigger pull.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light scratches most likely from storage in its original factory box. The screw heads are sharp. The safety selector switch is loose and rotates all the way around its pin as intended. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its original factory box and filling along with on 32 round polymer Cobray magazine in all in Excellent condition.
