Markings: Left side of the lower receiver marked with rampant Colt logo and below that is marked “M4 CARBINE CAL. 5.56MM LE 308123”. Behind the safety switch is stamped “COLT DEFENSE HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” along with “SAFE” and “FIRE”. Top of the barrel is marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7”. Right side of the lower receiver marked “SAFE” and “FIRE”. The right side of the charging handle housing is marked with a “C” and square Forge Mark. The carrier is marked “C” and the neck of the bolt head is marked “MPC”.

Sights / Optics: The Quad Rail system is monolithic to the receiver. The top of this rifle is a monolithic uninterrupted picatinny rail for all your favorite sights and optics. The front sight is a folding adjustable post sight on the gas block and the rear sight is a MBUS sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a MIL-SPEC A2 fixed Stock with sling ring and checkered buttplate with trap door for storage compartment. The pistol grip is a standard A2 grip. The handguard is a Monolithic Picatinny Quad Rail. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Good overall condition. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering on the grip is moderately dulled. There is some finish loss on the picatinny. There are scratches and scuffs on the buttstock. The checkering on the heel of the buttplate is slightly dulled

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows wear on the inner edge of the case deflector, along with scratches on the receivers and trigger guard. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition. Please see photos for a better understanding of this rifle’s condition. There are some scratches and scuffs on the outside of the barrel.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
