The right side of the frame is marked “COLTS PT.F.A.MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” and “9XE03265”. The left side of the rear sight is marked “NOVAK”. The chamber is marked “CAL 9MM LUGER / -PARABELLUM-”. The left side of the trigger guard is marked “VP” in a triangle and “L”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dotted blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the slide with two white dots. NOVAK LoMount Sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece VZ G-10 Colt Logo Black Cherry grips with beveled bottom. The checkering is well defined with little to no handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Blued Carbon Steel & Black
Finish Originality: Original.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. There is some fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. The action shows some operational wear on the chamber. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition as customized.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide has minor play to the frame and the trigger is crisp. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
