Markings: Left side of the receiver is marked with Colt Rampant logo and “MATCH TARGET MATCH HBAR CAL. 223 SER. PMH003357”. Left side receiver also marked “COLT’S MFG. CO. INC. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A.” “SAFE/FIRE”. The barrel is marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR”. The right side of the charging handle housing is marked with a C and AF Forge Mark. The Bolt Carrier is marked “C”. The neck of the bolt head is marked “MPC”.
Barrel Length: 16”. 17.25” with A2 Flash Hider.
Sights / Optics: The receiver is a flat top picatinny rail for all your favorite sights and optics. The front sight is an A2 Adjustable Post Sight. There is a detachable carry handle mounted to the picatinny rail with an L-Type aperture sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is an A2 buttstock with sling ring and checkered buttplate with trap door for storage compartment. The pistol grip is a checkered A2 grip. The handguard is a carbine length round ribbed polymer handguard. The bottom of the gas block has a bayonet lug and sling swivel. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Good overall condition. The pistol grip has moderate handling wear with fulled checkering. The buttstock and handguard however are clean with little to no signs of wear. There are no chips or cracks.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle lower retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light loose storage wear. There are some light scratches on the sides of the lower receiver. The case deflector doesn’t show any operation wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a factory Colt 10rd Magazine, a factory plastic gun sleeve, and its original Colt Owner’s Manual.
Our Assessment: The PMH prefix serialized Colt MT6601 Rifles were manufactured and sold as complete lowers around the time of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. The recorded numbers put these around less that 4000 ever made. This rifle has been given a matching upper receiver with HBAR profile barrel and all Matching Colt Parts and preban profile upper with bayonet lug.
