Markings: Left side of the receiver is marked “B127n RUSSIA SKS-45 7.62X39 KBI, INC HBG.PA RH612900”, The top of the receiver is marked with the Izhevsk Arsenal arrow inside a triangle and circle with the production year “1954r” stamped below the star. Rear sight is marked with numbers “n 1-10”. Top of the bolt, bottom of the hinge magazine, bottom of the trigger guard, and left side of the buttstock are marked “B127n”. There are several proofs on the chamber below the Trunnion as well as one the stock.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable, hooded post. The rear sight is a “U” tangent notch marked from “1 – 10” and “n”.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The Birch wood stock has a semi-pistol grip, scallop for the safety, metal nose caps, cutout for the attached folding bayonet, through bolt, sling loop, and a steel buttplate with a spring loaded door for storage. The LOP measures 12.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition. There are some obvious repairs made to the stock when it was factory refurbished. There are some small nicks and compression marks.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some minor fouling on the edges of the rifling.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows light operation wear, possibly leftover wear from before factory refurbishment. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this C&R rifle rates in about Excellent refurbished condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its factory box, owner’s manual, gun sleeve, metal oiler and leather case, green polymer oiler, tan canvas sling, two stripper clips, buttstock cleaning kit, and leather ammo pouch. All accessories rate in Excellent condition. There is light storage wear on the box.
