Markings: The front strap is marked “2W5NV51632”.  The right side of the frame is marked “Cylinder & Slide”.  The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.”.  The right side of the slide is marked “MADE IN BELGIUM / ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL”.  The right side of the slide is marked with the Cylinder and Slide Logo at the rear.  The barrel lug is marked with some Belgian proofs.  The chamber is marked “CAL. 40 S&W”.

Barrel Length: 4.6”

Sights/ Optics:  NOVAK night sights. The front sight is a tritium dot night sight blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a is a rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the slide with two tritium lamps.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are 2 piece checkered wood.  The checkering is crisp. There is little to no handling wear.  There is a small crack at the top rear of the left grip. Overall, the grips are in Good condition and would rate in Excellent condition if not for the small crack.

Finish Originality: Cylinder & Slide Refinished

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is some fouling in the grooves. In my opinion the bore rates 8/10.

Overall Condition:  The pistol retains about 99% of its enamel finish.  There is some minor thinning on the leading edges of the slide.  There are some small scratches on the slide and frame. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp and serviceable.  Overall, this Hi Power pistol is in Excellent condition.  There is some minor operation wear.  Please see photos for a better understanding of this pistol’s condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide action is smooth. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
