Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “POF USA / PHOENIX, AZ / MODEL: P-415 / CALIBER: MULTI / BB-1700638” with “MADE IN ARIZONA” behind the bolt catch.  The left side of the pistol grip is marked “MAGPUL” and the right side is marked “MOE / MADE IN USA”.  The ambidextrous bolt release is marked “POF USA”.  The top of the barrel is marked “WOA 1-8” with the White Oak Armament logo in between. The right side of the gas block is marked “suparms.com” with patent numbers. The left side of the buttstock is marked “MAGPUL INDUSTRIES CORP BOULDER CO. USA 1LX50” and “STR”.

Barrel Length: 24” Stainless Steel White Oak Armament Varmint 1:8 Twist with black cerakote finish.

Sights / Optics: There are no sights attached to this rifle, but there is a full length picatinny rail for the mounting of optics of your choice.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The buttstock is a synthetic adjustable Magpul STR buttstock with Ambi QD mounts, storage compartments, cheek welds, and rubber buttpad.  The pistol grip is a Magpul MOE grip with waterproof storage compartment insert.  The handguard is a 15” MLOK handrail. The lower is a GEN 5 POF LOWER. The upper is a All Gibbs Upper Side Charger This rifle has been upgraded with a Strike Industries Buffer, Anti-Walk Pins Set, Ambidextrous bolt catch and mag release, cross bolt safety, Strike Industries Ultra Light Extended Takedown pins, a POF Drop In Trigger,  and Nickel Boron treated BCG.  There is also a bolt catch button in front of the trigger against the top of the magwell.  The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the extended buttpad. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows superficial wear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.  There is some finish loss on the barrel in the form of scratches and scuffs.  The rear of the ejection port has some finish loss as well as on the edges of the picatinny rail particularly on the left side.  Please see photos.

Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment:  Alright, let’s talk about this custom POF P-415. This thing is a beast! First off, the buttstock is a synthetic adjustable Magpul STR buttstock with Ambi QD mounts, storage compartments, cheek welds, and a rubber buttpad. That means you can get a perfect fit, and store some stuff in there too. The pistol grip is a Magpul MOE grip with a waterproof storage compartment insert. So if you’re ever caught in the rain, no worries, your spare batteries or whatever you’re carrying will stay dry.

The handguard is a 15″ MLOK handrail. That means you can attach all sorts of accessories to this thing. You want a bipod? No problem. You want a flashlight? Go for it. The upper receiver is a Matrix Arms Side Charger. That means you can charge it from the side, and you don’t have to worry about the charging handle getting in the way of any optics you might have on there.

But it’s not just the furniture that’s been upgraded on this thing. It’s got a Strike Industries Buffer, Anti-Walk Pins Set, Ambidextrous bolt catch and mag release, cross bolt safety, Strike Industries Ultra Light Extended Takedown pins, a POF Drop In Trigger, and a Nickel Boron treated BCG. That’s a lot of upgrades! The trigger is going to be super smooth, and the BCG is going to be super slick. This thing is going to run like a dream.

And let’s not forget the UNFIRED 24″ Stainless Steel White Oak Armament Varmint 1:8 Twist with black High Temp Cerakote finish. This thing is going to shoot great, and look great doing it.  So if you’re looking for a custom AR-15 that’s ready to go, this POF P-415 is definitely worth considering.
