The bottom of the barrel is marked “308B NATO 1:11 MP”. Both sides of the buttstock are marked, “MAGPUL INDUSTRIES CORP PRS CAGE 1LX50.”. The bottom of the handguard is marked, “APEXHANDGUARD.COM”. The Sides of the scope are marked, “DMR ELITE TACTICAL”. The Scope Rings are marked, “BURRIS” AND “P.E.P.R.”. Sights / Optics: The top of this rifle has a monolithic full length picatinny rail for all your favorite sights and optics. The Rail is currently mounted with a Bushnell DMR Elite Tactical Precision Riflescope. There are also Troy Industries Low Profile Flip Up Battle Sights that serve as backup iron sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is an adjustable PRS Magpul buttstock (black). The pistol grip is an ergonomic rubber molded grip with finger grooves and thumb rest. The handguard is a APEX MLOK Free Float aluminum handguard with a picatinny rail mounted to the 6 o’clock position. The left side of the buttstock has a sling bar. The LOP measures 15” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fully extended buttstock. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some light scratches on the right side of the receiver, especially over the magwell and some light scratches on the dust cover. . The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition. It’s hard to say if this rifle has ever been fired outside of factory testing. The bore is mirror bright, the Bolt is extremely clean and there is lubrication still heavily present on the inside of the receiver, bolt, and charging handle.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: Built on the AR-10 platform, the DPMS LR-308B offers a great target shooting firearm along with some great tradition. This modern sporting rifle (MSR) offers accuracy, power, and flexibility for its users, with the option of easy customizations. Eugene Stoner’s ArmaLite AR-10 design chambered in 7.62 NATO was the design his company submitted to the US Army, who was looking to replace the M1 Garand. By 1957, the AR-10 made a late appearance in the military trials. Unfortunately, this firearm had a steel sleeved aluminum barrel and the design suffered a burst barrel during a military shooting torture test, damaging the company’s reputation and causing it to lose out on the military contract to the M14. But it wouldn’t take long for the AR design to experience a resurgence and the AR-10 would continue production. The DPMS LR-308 continues that lineage of hefty reliable firearms without losing any of the traditional high quality demanded from AR builds.
