Markings: The left side of the trunnion is marked “MISR S/A (AKM) / Cal 7.62x39mm” and “CM 04020”. The right side of the receiver is marked “MADE BY MAADI CO IN EGYPT / IMPORTED C.A.I. St Alb VT” with “S F” for the safety selection. The rear of the dust cover is marked “4020”. The left side of the bolt carrier is marked “4020”. The bolt head is marked “4020”. The left side of the recoil lug is marked with electric pencil with three numbers that are nearly illegible.
Barrel Length: 16.25”. 17” slant muzzle brake. The muzzle brake is welded to the barrel.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post iron sight between two protective ears. The rear sight is a leaf “U” tangent notch marked from “1 – 10” and “P”.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a Romanian “Dong” surplus wood set with checkered bakelite pistol grip. The handguard features its distinct dong vertical foregrip. The dong has been grip taped on both sides. The buttstock is wood with a bottom sling ring and a metal buttplate with a trap door for cleaning the kit storage compartment (included). The LOP measures 12.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There is little to no handling wear. The grip tape texture and the checkering on grip is crisp.

Finish Originality: Refinished
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows some light scratches on the receiver and dust cover. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. There is some minor operation wear. Overall this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its canvas sling with leather and aluminum fittings.
