Markings: The left side of the trunnion is marked “MISR S/A (AKM) / Cal 7.62x39mm” and “CM 03844”. The right side of the receiver is marked “MADE BY MAADI CO IN EGYPT / IMPORTED C.A.I. St Alb VT” with “S F” for the safety selection. The rear of the dust cover is marked “3844”. The left side of the bolt carrier is marked “3844”. The bolt head is marked “3844”.
Barrel Length: 16.25”. 17.5” muzzle brake. The muzzle brake is welded to the barrel.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post iron sight between two protective ears. The rear sight is a leaf “U” tangent notch marked from “1 – 10” and “P”.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is wood with sling ring in the belly and steel buttplate with trap door for cleaning kit (included). The pistol grip is smooth wood with grip tape on each side. The tape on the left side of the grip is started to fall away at the top. The handguard is two piece wood. The left side of the nope cap has a sling ring. The LOP measures 12.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are a few nicks and compressions. The left side of the grip has a repair a the top.

Finish Originality: Refinished
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows some light scratches on the receiver and dust cover. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. There is some minor operation wear including some finish loss on the top of the charging handle. Overall this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
