Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “PYTHON .357 / * 357 MAGNUM CTG *”. The crane and the crane cut are marked “K701067”. The right side of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”. There are inspection marks on the left side of the grip. The left side of the frame is with a JF stamped initials. The Barrel, rib, frame, cylinder, and yoke are all engraved with gold accents. The side plate and the right side of the frame have a Gold Eagle’s Head.
Barrel Length: 6” with Full Length Underlug and Matte Vented Top Rib
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade pinned to the top rib. The rear sight is a square notched leaf, pinned to the top strap, adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece oversized wrap around faux ivory grips are adorned with a gold medallion with a forward facing Rampant Colt. The left grip is marked “COLT” and the right grip is marked with an etched Rampant Colt. Only minute evidence of handling can be found on the grips. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Custom Engraved
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10 and appears unfired.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The finish is rich and deep. The revolver has been beautifully engraved. The majority of the work is an intricate scroll pattern. There are gold accents on the cylinder, barrel, trigger guard, back strap, and bottom of the frame. The Hammer, trigger, and cylinder release are Gold Plated. There is no evidence of handling wear. The frame screw heads and grip screw heads are sharp. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent – Like New condition.
Mechanics: We did not fire this handgun. There is no evidence that this revolver has been fired. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with a wood and glass presentation box with purple velvet lining. The Set comes with 18x steel cased .357 Mag Hollow point rounds in a wooden holder. The case comes with its brass key. The case is in Excellent condition with only some light handling wear. The glass is clean and free of any notable scratches.
