Markings: The left side of the top barrel is marked “TRIBORE” and “MADE BY FABARM ITALY-CAL.12GA-CH.76MM 3″”. The left side of both barrels are marked with various factory stamps and proof marks. The barrel lug is marked with various factory stamps and proof marks including the “BS” date code. The barrel flat is marked with the serial number, “2025093” and “CAL. 20/76”. The interior of the forend iron is marked with the serial number, “2025093”. The left side panel is marked “SC / EXTRA”, “HECKLER & KOCH / INC STERLING-VA”. The right side panel is marked with “HK / MADE BY FABARM / BRESCIA-ITALY”.  The grip tang is marked with the serial number, “2025093”.  Areas of the the receiver, trigger guard, and grip tang feature floriate engraving.

Barrel Length: 32” with vented barrel rib and mid-rib

Choke: Top: Threaded, Modified currently installed. Bottom: Threaded, Improved Modified currently installed. One full choke and two Cylinder chokes are also included.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red fiber-optic fastened to the barrel rib. There is a brass mid-bead fixed to the barrel rib.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece deluxe enhanced walnut with diamond-fine hand checkering, semi-pistol grip with right hand palm swell, leather covered vented recoil pad, adjustable comb for vertical and lateral modifications, and checkered forend with takedown lever in the bottom. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the right trigger to the back of the pad. The leather lining on the pad is free of any cracks or damage.  The checkering is crisp with sharp peaks.  There appears to be little to no handling wear, only light responsible storage wear over the years. Overall, the stocks rate in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: Both bores are bright and there is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion, both bores rate 10/10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its finish. There is extremely faint operation wear on the action and on the edges of the forearm metal where there is some minor finish loss from the break action.  The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lockup is tight with no play to the receiver. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
