Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the Factory 416 stamp, “SKS M.7.62X39MM BTC S.EL MONTE, CA / MADE IN CHINA BY NORINCO”, “94 44161”. The Bolt carrier is marked “44161” on top and “4 0” on the right side in front of the charging handle.
Barrel Length: 16.5”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded adjustable red post and the rear sight is a “U” notched sliding sight escalator marked from “1 – 10” and “3” for the battle position.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is wood with a semi-pistol grip, vented metal upper handguard, finger grooves, monte carlo comb, sling ring on the bottom of the buttstock, and hard rubber serrated buttpad. Has the under the barrel cleaning rod. There is no bayonet lug. The LOP measures 14 ?” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are a good amount of compression marks and scratches throughout as well as a few nicks.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is some minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 70% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minor erosion on the exterior of the barrel and trunnion. There is some light operation wear. The screw heads are tool marked with strong slots and any pins are serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall, this C&R rifle rates in about Very Good condition. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. This rifle takes standard AK47 magazines.
