Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “L461 NO. 120637”. There are proof marks stamped on the receiver. The barrel is marked “VIXEN MADE IN FINLAND” and has several proofs. The scope “SCOPE NITROGEN FILLED PERMA-LOCKED RETICLE 3X-9X40 ZOOM COATED OPTICS MODEL No. 781-010”.

Sights / Optics: This rifle has no provisions for iron sights however, it does have a 3x-9x40mm Scope mounted to a split base. The scope has a clear sight picture, simple crosshair reticle and positive click adjustments. Overall the scope is in Very Good Condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is high gloss, one piece, checkered walnut, semi pistol grip, Monte Carlo stock with cheek piece and a plastic buttplate with two sling swivels. The LOP measures 13 ¾” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock has a small chip on the bottom of the pommel, and some light lines scattered throughout the surface of the wood. There are no cracks in the stock. The buttplate shows minimal wear with no chips or cracks. Overall the stock is in Very Good to Excellent condition for C&R given its age.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few small marks in the finish on the barrel, the bolt knob has lost some of its finish, and the bolt shows finish loss on the friction surfaces. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes the mounted scope and leather sling.
