Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “F.I.E. CORP. MIAMI FLA USA READ WARNINGS BEFORE USING MANUAL FREE F.I.E. MIAMI FLA 33054”. The right side of the receiver is marked “S.P.A.S. 12-L. FRANCHI S.P.A.- BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY”. On the bottom of the receiver are some proof markings, including “AI” inside a square outline which signals the year of proof. Serial Number is marked on the right side of the receiver “AB0433”. Trigger guard is marked “S” and “F” around the safety lever.

Sights / Optics: Non-adjustable circular aperture rear sight and a large, non-adjustable blade foresight integrated into the barrel
Stock Configuration & Condition: Folding metal stock with hook and polymer forend. There are some scuffs and a few scratches on furniture from loose storage and previous use. No major defects were noticed. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition. There is a Rogue Rubber Molded Wrap around the pistol grip for extreme comfort and control. The Top folding buttstock has its iconic hook.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 92% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light scuffs and scratches along the edges of the ejection port as well as some rub wear from the pump action. There is some finish loss on the left side of the receiver near the buttstock mount. The top of the shroud has some wear from the buttstock folding. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The Terminator, Robocop, Jurassic Park. These are just a few of the movies this incredible shotgun has been featured in. Even if it wasn’t a movie star, the SPAS-12 would shine on its own. Originally designed as a rugged military shotgun, the Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun (SPAS) makes for a great close combat weapon for home defense. The signature hook has a few uses but none quite as cool as shooting this shotgun one-handed. Pump or semi-auto and very hearty. This one just needs to be in your collection. Good Luck!
