Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “FREEDOM ARMS 353 CASULL .357 MAG / *FREEDOM, WYOMING U.S.A.*”. The bottom of the frame is marked “HF0069”. The right side of the frame is marked “FREEDOM ARMS/ FIELD GRADE”. The left side of the frame has a patent number.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded partridge blade pinned to the barrel on a raised base. The rear sight is a Fully Adjustable rectangular notch sight with serrated face pinned to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece textured/checkered rubber. The checkering is crisp with sharp peaks. There are only light signs of handling. The grips are in Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no visible erosion.. There are fire marks at the muzzle and on the faces of the chambers. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8.5/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 97% of its finish. The turn line is crisp and thin on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. There is some spotted rust on the barrel exterior in a few places as well as on the rear sight. There are some faint scratches on the barrel and frame. Overall, this revolver rates in about Very Good condition. Please see our photos for a better understanding of this handgun’s condition. The timing is excellent and the chambers have no perceptible play upon lockup.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. Side Loading Gate.
