Our Assessment:   First off, the Gilboa DBR Snake is not your run-of-the-mill rifle. This Israeli-engineered beast is basically like having two rifles fused into one – it’s a double-barreled, double-magazine, semi-automatic rifle that looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi movie. Each barrel operates independently with its own trigger, making it a powerhouse in terms of firepower. When you’re holding this, it feels like you’ve got the capacity to lay down twice the amount of lead in the same amount of time as a regular AR-15.

Now, let’s talk about ergonomics and handling. The DBR Snake, despite its intimidating double-barrel setup, has surprisingly good balance and handling. It’s heavier, sure – but it’s not like wielding a bulky machine gun. You’ve got to respect the engineering here. The controls are ambidextrous, which is a big plus. But the real kicker is managing two triggers and two mags. It’s like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time – it takes practice to master, but once you do, it’s a game-changer.

Durability and reliability? It’s built tough – as you would expect from a military-grade weapon. The Gilboa DBR Snake is designed to handle the harsh conditions of the field, and it does that with aplomb. As for accuracy, it’s as accurate as you are skilled – each barrel can be zeroed independently, offering a level of precision that’s hard to beat.

In conclusion, the Gilboa DBR Snake is a behemoth that redefines what a tactical rifle can be. It’s not just a firearm; it’s a statement. Whether you’re into the novelty of its design or looking for something that can lay down a serious volume of fire, the DBR Snake demands attention. Just like Garand Thumb, we appreciate when a firearm pushes the boundaries, and the Gilboa DBR Snake does just that – it’s bold, it’s unconventional, and it’s a whole lot of fun to shoot. -C.J.
