Our Assessment: This flintlock rifle is a recreation of the Hawken style rifles that were common in the Rocky Mountain and Great Plains regions of  the United States during the first half of the 19th century. The Cross of Lorraine and turtle inlays along with the brass tacks make this rifle a unique standout that would be a great addition to any Hawken or American contemporary flintlock collection.
