Markings: The left side of the magwell is marked “G006142”. The right side of the magwell is marked “HESSE / ST. PAUL. MN / MODEL H91 / 7.62mm”. Both sides of the receiver are marked “F S” for the selection options.
Barrel Length: 18”. 20” with fixed welded flash hider
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is an adjustable dual aperture sight. The sides of the upper have HK style claw mounts.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are wood with polymer grip. The buttstock has a sling well and serrated rubber buttpad. The handguard has finger grooves and vents. The pistol grip is black synthetic is thumb shelf. The LOP measures 14.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Poor overall condition.There is a crack in the bottom of the handguard at the front. The wood is covered with heavy compression marks, scratches, and scuffs along with a few nicks.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is mild erosion scattered throughout the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 6/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 65% of its finish. There is heavy operation wear on the action. The receivers and all metal parts have heavy handling wear and finish loss. There are no noticeable dents in any of the metal. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fair condition. It is worth noting that Hesse rifles are notorious for being harsh on brass.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not test fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
