The left side of the frame is marked “014338” with an “S” below for safety. The bottom of each magazine is marked “.25 CAL.AUTO”. Factory filigree and scroll work is sharply engraved throughout the entirety of this pistol.

Sights / Optics: The Iron Sights are integral to the slide. The front sight is a blade. The rear is a v notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are Faux pearl. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition. There are no chips or cracks.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 6rd .25acp original magazines in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Engraved Satin Stainless Steel
Finish Originality: Original with added engraving.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its finish. There are some light scratches on the left side of the slide and frame. The screw heads and pins are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: While many people see pocket pistols as “Puny and ineffective”, concealed carry isn’t primarily about looking like a secret agent with a fancy over-accessorized pistol. Concealed Carry is about short range and quick draw. Concealed carry is a duel between you and a threat, where you draw your firearm quickly. Concealed carry allows any citizen to quickly rise to the top of the food chain in any situation. It is here that Pocket Pistols like this Bauer Automatic find its home. Based on the Browning design this is a reliable and effective design. This pistol can be easily concealed in a holster or pocket, hence the name, and is comfortable to carry. The most important factor is that a concealed firearm is available when you need them and the Bauer allows for just that. It is a side-kick that you can call upon when push comes to shove. Pocket pistols have a huge track record in saving lives and preventing victims of crime. They even make perfect backup pistols if you are dead set on a concealed carry you already have.
