Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with serial number “SM 16448”, “FEG” logo. “SA 85M CAL 7.62×39 / SEMI AUTOMATIC / MADE IN HUNGARY”. “K.B.I. INC. / HARRISBURG, PA”. The rear of the dust cover is marked “448”. The left side of the bolt carrier is also marked with serial number “SM 16448”. The bolt head is marked “SM 16448”. The rear sight is marked “1-10” and “A” for the battle position.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post sight and the rear sight is an adjustable tangent leaf sight with sliding escalator.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is made of mix matched wood. The buttstock and grip match and the forend is made of a blonde wood. The buttstock has a sling ring in the belly and a metal buttplate with trap door for cleaning kit storage (no kit included). The pistol grip is smooth wood. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stocks rate in Very Good overall condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are some nicks and compression marks.

Bore Condition: The chrome bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There appears to be no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows some minor scratches on the receiver and dust cover but they remain fairly undetectable. This rifle is pristine outside of minor mag wear on the catch. Overall this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its green canvas sling in Excellent condition.
