Our Assessment: The Uzi Pistol is a semi-automatic handgun that was designed and manufactured in Israel by Uziel Gal in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The Uzi was based on the open-bolt design of the Czechoslovakian ZK 476 submachine gun, which Gal had worked on during his time in the Czech Army.
The Uzi was first introduced to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in 1954, and it quickly became popular due to its compact size, reliability, and ease of use. In 1956, the Uzi was officially adopted as the IDF’s standard submachine gun, and it saw extensive use in the Six-Day War in 1967.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear sight is an adjustable rectangular notch sight. 3 DOT (White) system.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This Uzi Pistol has polymer ribbed grips around the magwell that serves as a pistol grip with a pistol grip safety. The grips show no surface wear and rate in overall Excellent condition. Featured Grip Safety.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows little wear. There is some slight operational wear as well as a few light scratches and scuffs. The screw heads are sharp and pins unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine condition.
