It’s an understatement to say that the Desert Eagle is an engineering marvel, impractical sure, but a marvel nonetheless. It is a gas operated, semi automatic, closed rotating bolt system packing the most powerful rounds on the market for a pistol. It is one of a kind and a monster willing to intimidate anyone brave enough to try and tame it. The Desert Eagle has developed a very unique niche and fanbase because of the power it brings to the range. It demands to be respected. The iconic look and size makes it a legend by itself that draws anyones attention. It demands oohs and awes from crowds which is why Hollywood and video games have included the Desert Eagle in many projects.

Markings: Right side of the slide is marked “MAGNUM RESEARCH, INC. MINNEAPOLIS MINN. MADE IN ISRAEL” The right side of the frame is marked “88425”. The left side of the slide is marked “DESERT EAGLE .50AE PISTOL ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES LTD. (I.M.I)”. Both sides of the grip are marked with the Desert Eagle Magnum Research Logo. The left side of the magazine is marked “4-7” over their appropriate witness holes and “3-91 05” near the bottom. There are some numbers underneath the safety lever on the slide.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a rectangular open notch sight dovetailed to the slide. The top of the slide has an integral scope rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are textured polymer with textured backstrap for extra very well needed grip support. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition. There are minimal signs of handling wear. The Barrel, Frame, and Slide are made of High Quality Carbon Steel. Please see photos for a better understanding of the grips condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. Polygonal Rifling w / Right Hand Twist 6 lands & grooves: 1 Turn in 19″
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its black and gold titanium finish. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. There is a light layer of fine gun oil covering the pistol to prevent rusting. There is some slight loss on the finish due to age, but overall has been well kept. There is a scratch on the right side of the barrel rear the muzzle. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
