Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “CRIOBARREL/BENELLI ARMI S.P.A.-URBINO-MADE IN ITALY”. The receiver is marked “BENELLI USA CORP.-ACCOKEEK.MD.-MADE IN ITALY”. There are proof marks above the trigger well. The right side of the receiver is marked “R1 ARGO -BENELLI-ITALY BB051316 CAT. 15215”. The right side of the barrel is marked “CALIBER .270 WIN SHORT MAG ONLY/READ OWNERS MANUAL BEFORE USING GUN”. The barrel also has a serial number different from the receiver “CB051316”
Barrel Length: 22 inches.
Sights / Optics: The top of the barrel is drilled, tapped, and filled for provisions for Iron Sights. The top of the receiver has a rail mount for Scopes.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is 2 piece Select Walnut and similar in design to the Benelli Super Black Eagle. It has a checkered handguard and traditional pistol grip. The bottom of the buttstock has a sling stud as well as a sling stud on the front cap of the forend. The buttstock has a raised comb and rubber recoil buttpad. The LOP measures about 13.5 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The stock has a couple loose storage marks as well as a couple impression marks that are hard to notice. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the stock rates in Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle comes with 1 Benelli 3rd Magazine and its in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Select AA Walnut Stock, Anodized Black Receiver. Gloss Blued Barrel.
Finish Originality: Original.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shown very little wear. There is a scratch on the left side of the receiver as well as some loose storage marks on both sides. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
