Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked, “GALIL ACE SAR CAL. 7.62×51” as well as “G0011851”. The safety selector is marked, “S F” on the left side at the top of the pistol grip and “SF” on the safety selector lever on the right side. The right side of the receiver is marked “IWI US, Inc. Harrisburg, PA CHF/CL 1:12 H3”

Sights / Optics: Hooded adjustable post front sight and L-Type Flip Aperture rear sight. The top of this rifle has an uninterrupted picatinny rail for all your favorite sights and optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a polymer telescoping and folding stock with soft rubber recoil pad and cheek riser attachment. The handrail is an RS-Regulate GAR-10M-N m-lok rail with BCM vertical foregrip. These rails a hard to come by hand highly coveted. The pistol grip is polymer and is integral to the lower receiver. The Galil ACE is built on a combination of a polymer lower and milled steel upper, significantly reducing weight. The stock rates in Excellent Condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are some rub marks and scratches on the buttstock as well as some light handling wear.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only light operation wear. The markings are sharp. There is some patina in the compensator as well as some scratches on the outside. There is some finish loss on the picatinny rail. Overall, this rifle rates in about a Very Good-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: Once again ladies and gentlemen we have a piece coming through our shop that stands out far above the rest. If this rifle were to magically become a human it would boot even Ryan Renolds off the pedestal of sexiest man of the year. The Galil is one of the most loved rifles in all of firearms history. And that’s not an understatement or a title given without reason. It truly is one of the most remarkable firearms ever devised in the minds of crazy good engineers. The Israeli Galil was born out of an impossible fight against the onslaught of AK47’s. After the 6 Day War, Israel captured thousands of Egyptian AK47 rifles and discovered for themselves all the benefits the Kalashnikov rifles provided as durability and maintenance go. The FN FAL’s they were using were effective but were becoming less effective in the down and dirty conditions warfare had become in the Middle Eastern Deserts. Several designs were offered to the Israeli Defense Force to gain an advantage over the AK47 including the M16, Stoner, rifle design by UZI, the HK33 from Germany, and the Automatic Rifle Machine Gun (ARM) by Yasrael Galil. I’ll let you guess who won. The (ARM) Galil was a design taken from the Finnish Valmet RK62 or the civilian M76, also known as the AK47 Perfected and was given a few more designs to make it really the most spankin’ rifle ever designed. The Galil was quickly adopted by Israel as their new standard issue rifle and became everyone’s favorite butt kicking machine. The Galil ACE is the most modern take on the Galil platform of rifles. It has integrated polymer parts to lighten the gun, and added on modern elements like a hard to come by RS-Regulate GAR-10M-N m-lok rail and a folding stock. This makes the Galil ACE fit in perfectly in the modern environment full of AR-15 pattern rifles. The ACE is used by several militaries and special forces units throughout the world, and is a battle proven and tested rifle that will make you the envy of everyone at the range.
