Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with front post and rear notch sights. Also offers an optic mounting rail on the left side of the receiver.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a black polymer with black metal fore-grip. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttstock. The stocks rate in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no visible erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal wear with a few scuff marks along the buttstock. There is a notable scratch on the front of the gasblock. This shotgun will require significant cleaning before use. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This semi-auto shotgun was named after the saiga antelope, an animal almost as rare as these Russian import firearms. Built on the traditional Kalashnikov-style rifles, this sporterized firearm can become a simple defense tool or just a sweet range toy. This shotgun, with its detachable magazines, offers speed and sturdiness, even if some might say the Saiga format is a little finicky. The great condition of this firearm and the potential “coolness” factor of an AK platform should tempt everyone to add a Saiga to their collection.
