Our Assessment: This flintlock rifle is a recreation of the style of rifle used in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania in the late 18th century. Though the maker is unknown, the fit and finish stands out, as well as the uniformity of the wood engravings. The lock is a John Bailes style made by L&R. This would make a great addition to any American contemporary flintlock rifle collection. Please see our photos for a better idea of the rifle and its condition.
