Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “M590A1” and “V1507993”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “MOSSBERG / NORTH HAVEN, CT / U.S.A. / 590 12 GA”. The right side of the heat shield is marked with a warning label and the left side is marked “12GA.-CHAMBERED FOR 2 ¾ AND 3IN. SHELLS”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an orange faced blade dovetailed to a serrated ramp. The rear sight is an adjustable aperture sight mounted to the top of the receiver.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece walnut stock features a corncob forend, checkered traditional pistol grip, straight comb, vented recoil pad, and sling stud in the bottom of the buttstock and at the end of the mag tube. 8+1 capacity. The bottom of the barrel band has a bayonet lug. The barrel has a vented metal heat shield. The top of the receiver has an ambidextrous thumb safety. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall the stocks rate in Very Good condition. There are a couple minor scuffs on the buttstock.

Bore Condition: The smooth bore is bright. There is some minor corrosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains 97% of its finish. There is operation wear on the action bar, mag tube, bolt, and receiver. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. There are some scratches and scuffs on the receiver.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
