Our Assessment:  This is an Excellent and Rare find indeed.  If you are a collector of AK rifles or unique firearms, this Norinco 756S7 has a special place in firearms history.  When the 1989 ban was signed, Norinco rifles that were already on their way to the U.S. or had already arrived in port, were caught up and reconfigured on the spot to meet the new regulations.  There were quite a few variants of Norinco AKM type rifles that needed to be made less scary.  After receiving a thumbhole stock, shaved bayonet lug, and tack welded thread protector, these rifles were now deemed fit for the American market.  Later models configured immediately after by Norinco would be named at factory “MAK 90”.  This is a great rifle with everything you need. Use it as a new range day favorite or keep it pristine in your gun safe. Everything is tight and functions smoothly. With a great mix of old quality function with some new age production, these Chinese made AK47s in the AK world are held in high esteem and are highly sought after.  Many consider the Chinese build to be superior to the Russian made AKs.  One thing is for sure, those who love Chinese AKs live by them as the rifle has proven itself time and time again under the notorious AK Stress Test with flying colors. Though this rifle wasn’t born in the US, it sure does scream “AMERICA”. Add this to your arsenal and enjoy the chinese military grade rifles made famous in the world of AK’s.  Good Luck!
