Markings: The left side of the frame is marked “CLARIDGE HI-TEC ™ 902570”. The right side of the receiver is marked “9mm NATO PAT.PEND NORTHRIDGE. CA. U.S.A.”  Both pistols have the same markings except the other one’s serial is “902571”.

Barrel Length:  5” proprietary threaded Match Grade barrel.  7” with Ribbed Barrel Shroud or Smooth Barrel Shroud Extension.

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is an adjustable hooded pin sight. The rear sight is an adjustable U notch.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  Tubular stainless steel forged one piece uppers.  The frame is one piece alloy integral with the pistol grip and trigger guard.  Magazine is fed through the pistol grip.  Charging handle on the upper left side and bolt catch.  Threaded barrel for barrel shroud extensions.  The stock rates in Excellent condition.  These pistols are NIB and never fired.

Magazine Quantity & Condition:  2x 15 rd steel 9mm magazines.  (One with each pistol).

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bores are bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: These pistols retain about 100% of their metal finish. The markings are crisp. Overall, these pistols  rate in about Excellent Condition. They are new-in-box and never fired. There is still factory grease present.

Mechanics: The actions function correctly. Telescoping bolt cloned after the SA-VZ23 submachine gun. We did not fire these pistols. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment:  If you’ve been following our auctions for the past year and a half you should be very familiar with the Claridge collection as we have been personally auctioning directly for the Claridges themselves.  If not, these Claridge firearms were made famous in movies like Planet of the Apes featuring Mark Wahlberg, Total Recall featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Against the Law, Iron Man 2, Firefly, Direct Hit, Assassins featuring Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Banderas, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico featuring Banderas. These guns have been held by some of the biggest names in Hollywood, and now they can be yours.

BUT, this consecutive serialized set has a pretty significant twist.  Both of these pistols are the ONLY two Alloy framed S-9’s ever made.  Not only are we almost dry on the very last of the Claridge collection, the Claridge’s have decided now is a good time to release this unique pair to auction.  These pistols are mint.  New in Box.  Never Fired.  And are truly one of a kind.  The most rare of all the Claridge pistols.  Period.

These Claridge firearms will soon have their very own display here at the Cody Firearms Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, making these not only Museum Grade, but more rare than what one of the biggest Firearm Museums in the world will have in possession.
