Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA 1301 TACTICAL”, “TA039145 IT21”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “21”, “CIP/S” and a proof. The left side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / OB HP 12 Ga. 76mm for 2 ¾”, 3” – 18 ½” – 18.6”. The right side of the barrel is marked “WARNING: READ MANUAL BEFORE USE / BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD”. The buttpad and bottom of the pistol grip have Beretta Logo. The bolt is marked “TA039145”, “BLINK”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dotted blade screwed to a raised base with protective wings. The rear sight is an adjustable aperture sight. The top of the receiver has a picatinny rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece synthetic with checkered semi-pistol grip, straight comb, rubber buttpad, sling stud in the belly, checkered handguard with finger grooves, QD cup mounted to the left of the barrel band and a picatinny mounted to the right. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad. The stocks rate in Excellent condition with little to no handling wear. The checkering is crisp with sharp peaks. The left side of the receiver has a velcro 6 Shell Nylon Side Saddle.

Bore Condition: The smoothbore is semi-bright. There is fouling and light scattered erosion throughout. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows some finish loss on the ejection port. There are a few minor drag lines but overall this shotgun is free of any notable defects in the finish. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
